WJHL's Chris McIntosh and TriCitiesSports.com reporter Cody Dalton were the lone stars in what proved to be an atrocious performance by the TriCitiesSports.com 'Celebrity' Pickin' Panel. Dalton and McIntosh posted 10-5 marks to take high honors for week #8


Overall, the panel took the gas pipe to the tune of a 114-111 overall record. Only six of the 15 'celebrities' managed winning records.

WKPT Sports Director Scott Gray remains in the overall lead but has been joined for Gate City TV's Mark Peters. WOPI's Mike Musick closed to within one game of Gray and Peters while three TriCitiesSports.com reporters - Thom Throp, Marky Billson and Dalton - are now two games back.

Gray's lead in the Harry Caray Division shrank by two games to a singe-game advantage over Musick.

Peters stretched his advantage in the Howard Cosell Division to three games over WKPT-DT3's Steve Wilmoth while McIntosh used his 10-5 mark to move into a tie for second.

Meanwhile, the Grantland Rice Division remains as the most hotly contested race. It's a three way dead heat between Billson, Throp and Dalton.
